Led by the dynamic duo, Dr. Lebarty, and Dr. Nocera, our team consists of dedicated, passionate, and skilled medical professionals who always assure that your needs are met. In our clinic, you will be cared for by people willing to assist you in every step of the way.

Nosa Aigbe Lebarty, M.D.

Dr. Lebarty received his undergraduate education from Medgar Evers College (Brooklyn) and graduated Cum Laude. At Medgar Evers, he was an engaging student. He participated in both educational and non-educational activities. Some of his notable involvements include being the president of the science club, secretary of the African Heritage club, parliamentarian of the Alpha Honor Society, Medgar Evers Chapter, the director of the Science Club Journal, and the co-chair of the Science Club Debating Team. He was the co-captain of the soccer team that won the first championship for the university in 30 years.

Dr. Lebarty also served in the Student Faculty Disciplinary Committee of the School of Science, Health and Technology, as well as the Student Athlete Advisory and Disciplinary Committee of the Athletic Department. Dr. Aigbe went on to participate in a summer scientific research as a McNair Scholar at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, where he was elected the President of the SMART/McNAIR Student Association.

He graduated from Poznan University of Medical Sciences (Poland) in 2008. In medical school, he was also an engaging student. He was the chapter’s event organizer of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), the Local Coordinator of the Standing Committee on Refugees and Peace of the International Federation of Medical Student Association (IFMSA), Poznan Chapter.

His internship and residency were done at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY, from 2009-2012. During residency, he was the Resident President of the New York State Academy of Family Physician, Ellis Chapter and the Coordinator of the Residency City mission project, where medical services were provided to the uninsured in Schenectady City Mission. He is certified through the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Lebarty has a diverse medial background, and he has been working in Hospital Medicine since 2012 and joined Nathan Littauer Hospital as a Medical Director from 2016 to 2020. He also served as the Chief of Medicine from 2017 to 2020. Prior to Nathan Littauer, he was also the Medical Director of the Hospital Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, NY. Dr. Lebarty is the owner of a Telemedicine Platform (Lebarty Medical Telehealth) where he assesses patients remotely, as well as in nursing homes. He is the founder and President of Project Health Africa with the goal of providing affordable and dependable healthcare to the poorer communities in Africa.

Dr. Lebarty was drawn to urgent care due to the immediate attention to acute medical needs that would otherwise take long hours in the ED. Additionally, Dr. Lebarty’s drive for addiction medicine was permeated by the rampant misuse of opioids, resulting in fatal overdoses. This he hopes to reduce with the use of Suboxone and a physician-centered treatment plan.

Jina Bae Nocera, M. D.

Dr. Nocera received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She Dr. Nocera was born in Seoul, Korea, and her interest in medicine started when she was a young child. This interest led her to attend Columbia University, where she was inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude. She then obtained her medical degree at University of Pennsylvania, where she was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. Following that, she went on to complete her post-graduate training at Harvard University, with her internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, and subspecialty fellowship in nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Nocera has over 20 years of experience in providing general internal medicine and nephrology in a variety of settings. Over time, having seen the toll that opioid use disorder can take in individuals and families, her interests broadened to the field of addition medicine. She is dedicated to helping people with opioid use disorder regain control of their lives. In addition, she also specializes in symptom management with the use of medical cannabis.
Dr. Nocera is licensed and board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, with certifications in the treatment of opioid use disorder and medical cannabis. She is known for her dedication, compassion, and attention to detail. Her goal is to reach everyone in the community from a unique clinical perspective and to customize care to meet individual needs.

Deborah Lebarty, Practice Manager

Deborah graduated from Canisius College in 2010 with a BA in psychology and obtained her Master’s in Health Information Technology in 2015. Her experience is diverse, and she has worked with insurance companies, software companies, and in the healthcare sector. She is an experienced professional with a history of providing quality services and satisfied clients; always striving for excellence and maintaining integrity in all of her interactions. Deborah is currently working on her MBA, and her goal is to play an integral part in the mental health field, providing holistic therapy with quality care and respect.

Toluwanimi Akinyemi; 1LT, USAR MS

Toluwanimi Akinyemi, Director of Operations

Toluwanimi Akinyemi graduated from Tufts University in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Community Health. She has experience as a Community Health Advocate and is currently an Officer in the United States Army Reserves. As a Medical Services Officer, Toluwanimi is the executive officer in her unit and is the medical planner for the field hospital. She has also worked at Ellis Hospital as a medical scribe for the past two years and is currently applying to medical school. Toluwanimi is passionate about working with underserved patients and the intersection between conventional and functional medicine.

Courtney Quackenbush, RN

Courtney has been a Registered Nurse for 4 years, primarily in the Emergency Department, with a certification in Emergency Nursing. She completed my nursing degree at Fulton Montgomery Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at SUNY Empire State College. Courtney plans to further her education to the Master’s level and hopes to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in the future.

Stanley Otasowie, LPN

Stanley has been a nurse for 10 years now. His passion has always been to provide excellent patient care and he has dedicated most of his Nursing career to serving the most vulnerable populations in Nursing Homes. Stanley’s goal is to advance his career in the medication profession and to continue to help the medically underserved with dedication, compassion, and empathy.

Jocelyn Dolly, MA

Jocelyn Dolly, MA

Jocelyn became a certified medical assistant immediately after high school, Jocelyn has been working in the hospital setting tending to patients of diverse background. She most recently worked at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, NY. Her experience has heightened her desire to become more involved in patient care. She is currently studying to become a registered nurse.

Alexis Fisher, ARRT

Alexis Fisher, R.T.(R)

Alexis is an ARRT and NYS DOH licensed radiologic technologist. Alexis attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a 2-year JCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program where she obtained her degree and took part in internships at multiple facilities taking x-rays and caring for patients. These facilities include St. Mary’s hospital, St. Peters Hospital, and Albany Medical Center, as well as Mohawk Valley Orthopedics. She also possesses an associate degree in Health Studies. Alexis prides herself in patient care and technical skills while working in the profession of Radiography. It is her goal to obtain diagnostic images while minimizing radiation to patients and maintaining their comfort and trust.
